Jorge Sierra will enter his third season with Southeastern men’s and women’s soccer teams. In his second season, he helped the men’s soccer team in qualifying to its first ever post season tournament. Prior to joining the Blackhawks staff, Sierra was a staff coach at Southeast Elite Soccer Academy (SESA) in Burlington, Iowa. Sierra was also a student assistant coach for Iowa Wesleyan University men’s soccer team in Spring 2018.  Before coming to the United States, Sierra served as the Head Coach for Football Club Vacacional a club team in Puerto Cortes, Honduras during the summer from 2013 to 2017. Coach Sierra is a 2018 graduate of Iowa Wesleyan University where he was a member and captain of the men’s soccer team during his junior and senior year. Before going to Iowa Wesleyan University, Sierra played at Ave Maria University in Florida and at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. He is currently working on his USSF “D” Coaching License. Sierra lives in Burlington with his family.
