SCC Baseball lands another state of Iowa standout baseball player for the 2018-2019 season.  Braden Houston who is from Iowa City, Iowa signed his NJCAA letter of intent to play for the Blackhawks after high school.  Braden is a right-handed pitcher who led Iowa City West to a 32-9 overall record with 12 Starts, going 9-1 to a .193 batting average against and a .89 ERA.  Head Coach Justin Schulte had this to say about Braden. "Braden is a true winner, leading one of the best teams in the state in ERA and wins is no small feat.
