West Burlington, Iowa- The Southeastern Community College Baseball team signs Jacob Bockenstedt, a right handed pitcher from Cedar Rapids Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the 2018-2019 season. Jacob led the Warriors in ERA, innings pitched, strike outs and wins. He held opponents to a .210 batting average against and only walked 10 batters in over 50 innings pitched.  Head Baseball Coach Justin Schulte says "Jacob was our first commit in this class and kind of set the bar high for this class.  He has a chance to be a power arm for us as freshman who will compete for a top four job.  He is an outstanding person who is very coachable and we are looking forward to watching him grow as a pitcher in the future."
