BLACKHAWKS GET WIN OVER MOBERLY AREA IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

WEST BURLINGTON - Southeastern Community College Men's Basketball picked up a huge win Saturday night in Loren Walker Arena over the visiting #16 Moberly Area Greyhounds. The game was a hard-fought battle from start to finish. Leading the charge for Southeastern was Olajuwon Ibrahim, who put up an impressive double-double performance with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Ibrahim's presence on the court was felt throughout the game, as he made key plays on both ends of the floor to help secure the win for his team.

The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading baskets and momentum swings throughout. However, Southeastern was able to maintain their composure and execute down the stretch, ultimately coming out on top in a hard-fought battle.

The win was a significant one for the Southeastern team, as it showcased their resilience and ability to come together as a unit to secure a victory against a tough opponent. This win was key in testing where the team is at headed into post season play.

Another notable performer was Raphael Gay, who had an emphatic dunk in the first half that swung momentum back in the direction of the Blackhawks in the first half. Not only did Raphael do it on the offensive end, but Raphael also had a huge block with 4 minutes left in regulation which propelled the Blackhawks over Moberly.

The Blackhawks host Marshalltown in the first round of Region 11 tournament play Wednesday night at 7:00PM.
