The opening game of the NJCAA Division II World Series saw the Blackhawks pound out 17 hits en route to an emphatic 12-2 rout of East Central in 5 innings. Taichi Nakao was 4-4 at the plate with 3 RBIs, including a 2-run Home Run. Casey Perrenoud was again outstanding on the mound, going 5 innings and scattering 4 hits. Marcus Beatty, Cole Yearsley, Jose Sallorin, Bryce Phelps, and Sam Skarich all had multiple hits, while Caleb Wulf added 3 RBIs with Vasin Thurman plating 2. SCC plays the winner of the South Arkansas/Lansing winner Monday at 7:15pm at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, Oklahoma.
