WEST BURLINGTON - Southeastern cross country's Brooks Julian & Aisha Ramone earned 'Athlete of the Week' from the ICCAC for August 17-27, 2023.
Julian & Ramone both were part of SCC's highest placing relay team this past weekend at the Heartland Relays.
On the men's side, each entry in this event pairs two runners together for an eight mile race, where they take turns each mile. Julian's mile average was 5:24 through 4 miles. Brooks was paired with teammate Jeff Campbell for this event. The Campbell/Julian duo placed 12th at the meet.
In the women's relay event, each runner ran three miles each. Ramone's average mile at this event was 6:00. Ramone was paired with teammate Cassidy Yaley at this event, where they placed 4th.
