Beau Wills joins the Southeastern Athletic Department as its newest assistant coach in July of 2024. Beau joins Southeastern’s baseball staff after the Blackhawks captured a 43-19 record in the previous season where they took their second consecutive trip to the national tournament, and claimed their first at-large bid in school history. A Coal City, IL native, Coach Wills comes to Southeastern with extensive pitching knowledge. Coach Wills played in college at Concordia University-Wisconsin from 2018-2023 where he recorded 71.0 strikeouts in 72.0 innings and racked up 14 saves. His 14 saves solidified him in the school history leaderboard at Concordia University-Wisconsin, along with appearances, games finished, and combined shutouts. 

After Wills’ college career, he gained experience as a private baseball instructor at Tunnel Vision Academy (IL) for two years where he worked with hundreds of individuals teaching pitching, hitting, fielding, and mental development. Most recently, Wills spent his past season as a pitching coach at Rockingham Community College (NC), leading the staff to improvements in ERA, WHIP, walks, HRs allowed, BA against, and most importantly, 10 additional wins from the previous season.
