Peyton Stowers – Southeastern – Freshman – 800 Meter

Peyton Stowers participated at the Frigid Bee Invitational in Davenport, Iowa last week as SCC began their Indoor Track & Field season. Stowers ran in the 800 Meter race against 15 other runners. He took fifth overall with a time of 1:58.76 being the fastest NJCAA runner at the event. Stowers' sub two-minute time broke the Southeastern school record by four seconds and broke Stowers' open 800 time by three seconds. Stowers and Blackhawks are looking ahead to a meet back in Davenport on Jan. 11 at the Battle in the Hive.
