WEST BURLINGTON - The NJCAA released the national all-academic teams for the 2023-24 school year on Thursday, July 18th. Southeastern softball came it at 8th on the national ranking for team GPA amongst softball teams across the NJCAA with a 3.73. Additionally, 12 softball players were placed on the individual academic teams for their success in the classroom this past year. 

Softball's success in the classroom is a testament to the hard work these student-athletes put in this year under second-year head coach Kevin Kaalberg. In addition to their team successful GPA, the Blackhawks earned the highest win percentage since 2019 in the spring 2024 season. The Blackhawks return 11 sophomores for the 2024-25 season from a team who placed second in the conference in the regular season, while adding a talented class of incoming freshman.
