The SCC men's soccer team did not let a little rain, a slippery field, or a wet ball slow them down this past Saturday against the Hawkeye Community College RedTails. A torrential rain struck the field late in the first half, which caused some havoc for both teams. The Blackhawks struggled in the first to put the ball in the back of the net, but had many great shots and took several chances. The Blackhawks took control in the second, with goals by Warwick Stonell, Pedro Bernardino, Joep de Bruin, Foslyn Grant, and Cristobal Gutierrez.
