Hunter Pender was a big-game player when it mattered most for Southeastern this past week. Pender scored three goals and assisted another in a narrow 4-3 win over Northwest Iowa. The Thunder went ahead 2-0 early in the game, with Pender assisting a goal to draw it to 2-1 before half. Then, Pender came out of the half on a mission and scored two goals within the first 18 minutes to go up 3-2. With 15 minutes left, Pender scored what ended up being the game winning goal as she made it 4-2. It was a great week for Pender, who leads the Southeastern with six goals on the year.
