Malik Kelly joined the Men’s Basketball staff in April of 2024. Prior to Southeastern CC, Kelly was an assistant coach at Iowa Central CC for the 2023-2024 season and Central Lakes College 2022-2023 season in Brainard, MN. Kelly played at the collegiate level at Central Lakes College. During his two seasons, Kelly was the starting point guard for the first team in school history to beat the #1 Team in the Country (Suffolk County College) at the National Tournament. Kelly won the state championship, regional championship, and made it to the national tournament before losing in the Final Four. After graduating from CLC Kelly went on to play at Columbus State University where the team qualifyied for the NCAA DII National Tournament. Kelly finished his education at Southwest Minnesota State University in the Spring of 2023.
