WEST BURLINGTON - SCC's Abram Lorence and Jenna Smith earned Athlete of the Week in Sports Shooting from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference for their performance in the week of September 11-17, 2023. In this week of action, Southeastern defeated Kirkwood 488-451 behind Lorence and Smith's scores of 100 and 98. Those scores were good enough for first and second place amongst all competitor's this past weekend.

Lorence's score of 100 is the second time he has done so in ICCAC action in his two years at Southeastern while Smith's 98 ties her highest score from the previous season. 

SCC will compete in 3 more Sports Shooting competitions before state play begins.
