Keokuk, IA-The Blackhawks get the 72-46 win over Ellsworth in their home opener on Saturday. The Blackhawks were led by Antuanae Garrett with 21 points. It was a very balanced scoring attack as we had 2 players in double digits. Local standout Michenna Davis came off the bench and added 12 points going 4-4 from behind the arc, and Terryn Tiller added 9 points. "So proud of our team today. I thought they played with a lot of energy and we continue to improve every day." commented Head Coach Jerry Jerome. The Blackhawks are 1-2 on the early season. The Blackhawks return to action on Wednesday, February 3rd when they travel to North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, IA at 5:00pm.
