BROOKS HIRED AS ASSISTANT TRACK & FIELD COACH
WEST BURLINGTON - Southeastern Athletics is thrilled to announce that Isis Brooks has joined our coaching staff as the new Assistant Track & Field Coach, specializing in sprints. With an impressive track record and exceptional achievements, Coach Brooks brings a wealth of experience and success to our program.
 
Career Highlights:
ASUN Individual Titles (3):
  • 2022 Outdoor 100m
  • 2023 Outdoor 100m
  • 2023 Outdoor 200m
All-ASUN Honors (4):
  • 2022 Outdoor 100m - 1st Place
  • 2022 Outdoor 200m - 2nd Place
  • 2023 Outdoor 100m - 1st Place
  • 2023 Outdoor 200m - 1st Place
2022 Outdoor Track & Field (R-Jr.):
  • Ran the 100m and 200m at the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round, becoming the first Lady Flame to advance to the 100m's quarterfinal round.
  • ASUN 100m champion (Liberty and ASUN all-time record 11.35), 200m runner-up (personal-best 23.50).
  • Named ASUN Women's Track Athlete of the Week and VaSID First Team All-State (sprints).
Education:
  • Competed at Hampton and Campbell, winning Big South event titles and achieving top finishes at NCAA Division I meets.
Prep:
  • Graduated from East Forsyth High School, with standout performances at the North Carolina 4A state meet.
Personal:
  • Daughter of Dejoun Brooks and Toni Lee.
  • Birthday: June 6.
  • Pursuing a master's degree in Human Performance – Strength and Conditioning.
