BLACKHAWKS DROP TIGHT GAME TO LEWIS & CLARK

WEST BURLINGTON - A close game Wednesday was settled by 1 goal for Blackhawk men's soccer in their bout with Lewis & Clark. Lewis & Clark jumped out of the gate with a goal coming in the first 7 minutes. Southeastern had several opportunities to capitalize on, including 4 corners in the first half. In the final minute of the half, the Blackhawks would be awarded a penalty kick due to a handball that occurred in the goalie box. The Blackhawks were unable to capitalize again thanks to a save from Lewis & Clark's goal keeper. The match would go scoreless until Lewis & Clark extended their lead to 2-0 in the 62nd minute.

The Blackhawks' lone goal came in the 84th minute thanks to a Luis Torres goal (assist by Juan Hernandez).
