SCC Honors Hazaria Washington

Keokuk, IA-Hazaria "ZO" Washington is from St. Louis, Missouri. Hazaria was #22 and played for the Blackhawks for 2 seasons, from 2010 to 2012 was honored Saturday during half-time of the Blackhawks game for earning NJCAA 2nd Team All-American while playing for the Blackhawks. The Blackhawks went 44-19, her 2 seasons here. During her freshman campaign, she was ranked in the Top 50 in scoring. She averaged 16 points per game, totaling 502 points for the 2010-2011 season. During her sophomore campaign, she was ranked #3 in in the nation, in scoring, in NJCAA division 2. She averaged 22 points per game totaling 717 points for the season, while shooting over 52% from the floor. She was also ranked in the Top 20 in steals per game, averaging 3.5 steals per game, setting a season record, totaling 115 steals for the 2011-2012 season. Hazaria also earned 1st team ALL Region Honors. Lastly, she led the ICCAC in scoring and assists and earned NJCAA Division II second team All-American honors.
