It was quite clear the SCC volleyball team were eager to capture the W against the Iowa Lakes Community College Lakers in a tough matchup. However, ILCC came out on top for the evening with a 3-2 victory. Kalyssa Fox lit up the night with an alarming twenty-one assists, sixteen digs, and eight kills. Lamecia Schaerrer was very versatile with twenty-four assists and seven digs. Lillian Simpson and Ayaka Yoshioka were on top of their game and both finished with twenty-nine digs respectively. Simpson also finished the contest with nine kills. Raevyn Russell was her usual dominant self with eighteen kills and eight digs. Russell has tallied an astonishing 975 career total kills as a Blackhawk.
