Men's Basketball Drops Home Game to DMACC

West Burlington, IA-The Blackhawks dropped one at home against DMACC on Saturday, 82-72. The Blackhawks struggled with defending the 3 point shot with DMACC going 15 for 23 from the 3 point line, making FTs (10-19) and taking care of the ball (15 TOs). DMACC opened the game up on a 11-2 run, and hitting 3 threes in first 3 minutes of the game. Blackhawks clawed back with a 11-2 run of their own to take the lead. From there, it was back and forth. Blackhawks took the lead at half, 36-32. Both teams go back and forth once more in the first 5 min, until Kennedy Milton picks up a technical. From there, DMACC goes on a 14-0 run. DMACC expanded the lead to 14 (67-53) with 7.5 minute left in the game. SCC goes on  a 12-3 run to bring it to a 5pt lead (70-65) with 3 minute left but a missed FT and back to back turnovers by the Blackhawks allowed DMACC to capitalize and win the game.
