Ottumwa, IA- The Blackhawks take a tough loss on the road against Indian Hills, 94-71. Indian Hills took an early lead to start the game (16-9) but the Blackhawks clawed back into the game. The Blackhawks took the lead at halftime, 46-44. Both teams came out aggressive and hungry in the 2nd half. Blackhawks started pull away with a 6pt lead (54-48 with 16:03 left) but Indian Hills came back with a 10-0 run before Blackhawks scored again. Indian Hills kept the lead but Blackhawks were hanging around, which brought Indian Hills lead down to 1 (66-65) after Kennedy Milton's 3pt shot with 6:57 left. With 6:13 left, SCC struggled to score, take care of the ball and defend at a high level, which lead to 28-6 run by Indian Hills to close the game. The Blackhawks had 4 guys in double figures. Jesiah West 14pts 5rebs 2blks, Kennedy Milton 12pts 4asts 3stls, Zurabi Zhgenti 12pts, and Bruce Carpenter with 10pts 6rebs off the bench.
