West Burlington, Iowa- It was Kids Night at the SCC Blackhawks game on Monday, November 20th. Approximately 30 youth from the community showed up to cheer on the Blackhawks as they rallied for the win against Kankakee Community College and improving their record to 5-1. Kids Night was sponsored by the SCC Residence Hall Council where the youth received free admission to the game, a tour of the Blackhawks locker room and signed autographs by the coaches and players. The students were thrilled to be amongst the college players and have a chance to see the Blackhawks locker room. The Blackhawks beat Kankakee in a 79-75 victory. SCC Sophomore, Patrick Jackson led the Blackhawks scoring 15 points while sophomore guard, Kourtney Ware had 12 points.
The Blackhawks host the FunCity Classic this weekend, playing Henry Ford at 7 p.m. Friday and Danville at 5 p.m. Saturday.
