BLACKHAWKS TIE LARGEST WIN MARGIN IN PROGRAM HISTORY

WEST BURLINGTON - Southeastern women had a dominant performance Wednesday, defeating Scott CC 10-0. Jace Herman and Karlee Ballast put on a scoring clinic; scoring 4 and 3 goals respectively. Jace Herman opened the scoring in the 25th minute thanks to an assist from Sydney McElhinney. In the final 20 minutes of the first half, Herman and teammate Karlee Ballast would score an additional 4 goals. 5 different Blackhawks would score in the game.

On the defensive side, goalkeeper Marlin Beltran would post a shutout in the net thanks in part to defenders Maria Jose Martinez, Eva Bollhalder, Sydney Mcelhinney, and Tessa Silberhorn.

The Blackhawks' 10-0 win ties the largest win margin in program history, tying a 10-0 win in 2018. The Blackhawks are now 1-1, and will play Heartland Community College at home on Monday, September 11.
