WEST BURLINGTON - The Blackhawk ladies had a very tough battle Monday as they played #6 ranked Heartland at Burlington Fun City's Turf. Heartland scored at the 10 minute mark of the first half, and did not look back. The Blackhawks fought hard to defend the goal, but ultimately lost 7-0. Goalkeeper Marlin Beltran recorded 19 saves in this match on 26 shots on goal for Heartland.
The Blackhawks have the opportunity to bounce back on Wednesday when they play host to the NIACC Trojans at the Burlington Rec Plex.
