19 SCC BASEBALL ATHLETES COMMIT TO 4-YEAR SCHOOLS

WEST BURLINGTON - Nineteen Blackhawks from the 2023-24 season have committed to play baseball at 4-year schools. Among the nineteen, nine of them will be competing at the Division 1 NCAA level. All conference award winners Caleb Wulf and Kooper Schulte will be staying close as they head to the University of Iowa to compete for head coach Rick Heller, while Cole Smith and Sam Skarich will play at Bradley University and the University of Louisiana Monroe, respectively. These nineteen athletes were part of a 43-19 squad who became the first team to achieve a College World Series berth in back-to-back years. Coach Schulte and the Blackhawks are no strangers to success following their time at SCC, as 26 Blackhawks have also continued on to sign with MLB organizations.

Southeastern athletics would like to congratulate all who have signed on to continue their careers at four-year universities, and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
