Blackhawks Drop Conference Match to NIACC

West Burlington, IA - After coming off of a sweep against NJCAA DI Lake Land College Sunday, the Blackhawks dropped 3 sets to conference competitor NIACC Wednesday night (21-25, 14-25, 19-25). The Blackhawks had 75 unforced errors while NIACC only committed 11. "We definitely did not bring our best game and committed way too many errors," Head Coach Michelle Glass commented after the game. She added, "it's unfortunate with such a good team like NIACC. We knew they would be a great match up for us. This loss will change our fate for the Regional Championship seeding, but it's a great learning experience for all of us. We're not always going to win and everyone has to do their part in order to gain an advantage. We have 5 more conference matches to prove we want to be in the top 3."

The Blackhawks are currently 2-2 for conference in a 4 way tie for 3rd and 10-8 overall. Their next game is tonight against no. 9 Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois at 6pm.
